alexandrapatrick and PROGRESS secured the project to develop a compelling distinct tourism brand that will endorse the distinct values of Romney Marsh. Paul Hadaway, Connectivity Programme Manager, Kent Wildlife Trust announced: “The Romney Marsh Partnership, working alongside partners in the Heritage Lottery Funded, Fifth Continent Landscape Partnership Scheme (led by Kent Wildlife Trust) is excited to have engaged PROGRESS Agency (Folkestone) and alexandrapatrick, marketing agency (Romney Marsh) on a place branding project for Romney Marsh”.

He continued: “This project is supported by Marsh Million funding and will focus strategically on enhancing the visitor economy to encourage local economic growth. A dynamic identity will aim to strengthen the existing business base and communicate why Romney Marsh is a great place to live, work and visit.  The project will deliver a unified ‘Romney Marsh Visitor Brand’ and we aim for the work to be completed by summer this year”.

The brand identity will have supporting guidelines and toolkits to communicate consistent messaging. In addition, there will be a responsive website that will act as an information hub for Romney Marsh residents, tourists and businesses.

alexandrapatrick, marketing agency set up business on the Marsh over 10 years ago, so we’re particularly proud and passionate about the area and what it has to offer in terms of activity, history, beauty and enterprise.
