The Kent Institute of Medicine and Surgery (KIMS) is under construction in Maidstone, Kent. The marketing services of alexandrapatrick have been secured to spread the word about this £90m medical campus.
alexandrapatrick has begun work to help position KIMS as a world-class healthcare centre of excellence and to support the institution in developing a bespoke marketing toolkit.
The hospital is being built by VINCI Construction and will serve up to 5,000 patients across Kent, allocating up to 25% of its time to NHS patients.
alexandrapatrick will work on marketing collateral to communicate KIMS’ core messages and ambitions for the wider project, estimated to cost around £350 million.
The 50-acre site could include a university campus with halls of residence, a women’s and children’s hospital, pathology laboratories, research and development facilities, accommodation for doctors and nurses, and a neuro-rehabilitation village.
Franz Dickmann, President of KIMS said: “KIMS will be a home for one-stop medicine. We aspire to deliver a world-class facility that will be an internationally acclaimed university of care. Through effective marketing we have a real opportunity, to be recognised as a leading light throughout the UK and overseas.”
